Happy Monday! I hope y’all have a good week ahead of you. I have a pretty relaxed week ahead, I think! I need to start packing next week, so I’m going to enjoy this week before I have to start that. I’m not sure if I ever updated the blog, but our apartment building was sold to a university, so it’s turning into college dorms. Since Daniel and I aren’t students at that university, we can’t live here anymore. We’re crushed, tbh, but we can’t do anything about it! So we found a new apartment! We move in a few weeks!!

Today, I wanted to chat about hair scarves. They’ve been pretty popular lately, and I’ve definitely jumped on the trend. They can dress up a basic everyday outfit, and they’re so fun! You can wear them in your hair, around your neck, and on your bag! A hair scarf dresses up any bag! Just tie it around the strap and you’re good to go!

I like to wear them around my topknots! Most of the time, I tie the ends together so they’re not hanging down because I typically like a top knot to keep my hair out of my face. I think it’s really cute though when you leave the ends out and loose!

I really love to tie a hair scarf around the bottom of my braid!

Probably the most common way I wear my hair is in a half up/half down bun with a hair scarf around it! It’s so easy, and you only have to fix the bottom half of your hair ;)

I’ve had a few people ask me how I keep my hair scarf from falling out of my hair. I put the hair scarf through a clear elastic, and then I tie my hair up with the clear elastic and wrap the hair scarf around the bun/pony tail/whatever. Let me know if that’s confusing and I can show what I mean on insta stories!

Some of my fav places to buy hair scarves: Madewell, Free People, Kristin Made, Clothologie

This particular hair scarf is from Kristin Made!

I hope you guys all have a great week!

See you next time!
