I know it’s been a while since I’ve been here! I got a new job in October, and got so busy that the blog fell in priority! However, it’s a new year, and I’ve missed posting so ya girl is BACK!
I’ll update you with what’s been going on over here in DC the past few months:
Daniel completed his first semester of law school! YAY GO DANO! He’ll be done with his first year in May. It’s been going by so fast! He’ll be a lawyer in no time. He also got offered an internship for this summer! YAY AGAIN!
Our beautiful perfect apartment complex sold to a local university and is turning into a DORM. YES A DORM THAT COLLEGE STUDENTS WILL LIVE IN. Only students are allowed to live in the building which means Daniel, the kids, and I have to move. We found another great apartment, but we definitely don’t love it like we love our current place. I keep reminding myself that it’s just an apartment and it’s not permanent, but like I’m still sad about it yaknow? We move in April.
I got my hair colored and omg it turned out silver you guys. SILVER. I had to get it glazed or something immediately so it was back to normal about 12 hours later, but I’m scarred. If anyone has a hair stylist they’re obsessed with in the DMV area PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
I’ve decided I’m going to buy Daniel a peloton bike for his birthday, so if you have a peloton let me know if you love it!! We have one in the gym at our current place and Daniel loves it and has been so sad to move because our new apartment doesn’t have a peloton!
OH! I finally went to Charleston, SC! You guys! The most charming place ever. I want to go back with Daniel. Let me know if you want a little Charleston guide!
I think that’s pretty much it! It’s been pretty lowkey over here. Daniel has been studying/going to class and I’ve been going to work. Now that Daniel has been offered an internship, I’m hoping we can plan a trip for the summer once he gets his work schedule! Logan, my little brother, lives in Copenhagen now so we’re trying to carve out some time to go see him!
Okie! That’s it for now!
See you next time!
