Daniel and I are planning a fun date night this weekend, and I have the perfect outfit to wear that I wanted to share with you all! I love getting dressed up. To be honest, I like any excuse to wear heels because even though I’m fairly tall, I’m the shortest in my family and I like to be a bit taller!

I’ve probably mentioned before how much I love blazers. I really just love layers! Blazers are so versatile! This outfit’s main focal point is the green velvet blazer. Daniel actually hates the feel of velvet?? I think he’s crazy! This outfit is really simple, but it looks fancy because of the satin camisole and velvet blazer!

I bought this specific blazer last year, and I’m loving that velvet is still so trendy! I’ve linked similar blazers. Incorporating any sort of velvet into your look will help add an interest of a different texture. So even if you found a velvet top (like this one for example!) and paired a regular blazer over it, you’ll still get a very similar vibe.

For my hair, I just left it down and curled it! This is day 3 hair for me that I had worn straight on Monday, so the curls have a lot less volume. I curl my hair with a 1 and a half inch curling iron! For these specific curls, I curl away from my face the whole time! I don’t alternate because I’m lazy ha!

Let me know if you love velvet as much as I do, or if you can’t stand the feel of it like Daniel!!

See you next time!
